Rajarshi Sengupta, a practitioner and art historian, holds a PhD in art history from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver (2019), and has been the first recipient of the IARTS Textiles of India grant, Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto (2017-18). Presently, he is an assistant professor at the Dept. of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Kanpur.
