TAKE on Art in continuation with its association with Dhaka Art Summit, organized TAKE on Writing Series – Critical Writing Ensemble (CWE) II. CWE nurtures structures of empowerment, knowledge sharing and production, within which micro-histories will not just claim their place but also contribute to their revitalization through discussions and workshops amongst regional peers, as evidenced with CWE I.

CWE II has been developed in collaboration with editor and publisher, TAKE on Art, Bhavna Kakar and led by director and curator, OCA (Office for Contemporary Art Norway), Katya García Antón, alongside artistic director, Dhaka Art Summit, Diana Campbell Betancourt and director, Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, Chandrika Grover Ralleigh.

The Dhaka chapter saw an illustrious line-up of speakers, including Anshuman Dasgupta, Chus Martinez, Shukla Sawant, Filipa Ramos, Yin Ker, Belinder Dhanoa, Quinn Latimer, Rosalyn D’mello, Salima Hashmi, Chantal Pontbriand, Nida Ghouse, Mariam Ghani, Victoria Noorthoorn, Nabil Ahmed, Geeta Kapur, Maria Lind, Rosa Martínez, Aunohita Mojumdar, Paul B. Preciado, Dorothee Richter, Devika Singh, Sharmini Pereira, Mike Sperlinger and Mustafa Zaman.
