TAKE on Writing Series: ‘The Book Ensemble’
TAKE on Art is excited to bring together an international community of artists, writers and curators under its TAKE on Writing series for ‘The Book – Ensemble’. Curated by TAKE editor and publisher Bhavna Kakar and curator and assistant editor for TAKE, Anushka Rajendran, the ensemble will, over the course of 3 days, exchange ideas and discuss the endurance and material legacy of ‘The Book’, including the ways in which it continues to influence contemporary processes of knowledge, community and history.
We are honoured to have an incredible line-up of speakers on board including Amar Kanwar (India), Anshuman Dasgupta (India), Bharti Lalwani (India), Chloé Wolifson (Australia), Chus Martinez (Switzerland), Ingo Niermann (Germany), Filipa Ramos (Portugal), Geeta Kapur (India), Geir Haraldseth (Norway), Gulammohammed Sheikh (India), Himali Singh Soin (India), Kavita Singh (India), Maria Lind (Sweden), Melissa Ratliff (Australia), Nancy Adajania (India), Nicolai Strøm-Olsen (Norway), Övül Ö. Durmusoglu (Turkey), Parul Dave Mukherji (India), Pip Wallis (Australia), Sarnath Banerjee (India), Shilpa Gupta (India), Sonal Khullar (India), Stefanie Hessler (Germany), Talia Linz (Australia) and Thukral & Tagra (India). There will be interventions by Belinder Dhanoa, Ina Puri, Jyotindra Jain and Meera Menezes, and curated sections by Dayanita Singh and Samit Das will be on display at the venue.
